Highlights of Today’s meeting: “And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean among the ears of grain after him in whose sight I shall find favor. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.” Ruth 2:2 ASV Ruth was a foreigner in Bethlehem of Judah. As a foreigner she could go and glean leftovers from people’s fields according to the God’s law Deuteronomy 24:19, Leviticus 23:22. God’s law remains the same in the New Testament in James 1:27 says: Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. How are we providing for the orphans and widows around us. Let's meditate on these scriptures and I pray that God will interpret it to us on how to practice true religion that God accepts. Thanks for coming ladies! God bless us all and have a relaxing weekend.
