Prayers for the World #covid19

While reading the word of God, I discovered 2 important things to pray for in addition to the important prayer point we had.

These prayer points are below:

1. Pray that the days of the signs of the end time are shortened Matthew 24:22

2. Pray that our flight will not be in the winter Matthew 24:20

3. Pray that God helps us not to be weighed down by cares of this world, so that we will escape the wrath of God and catch our flight to redemption Luke 21:28-36

For the second prayer point, you can understand it for yourself by prayerfully reading the Bible. (Matthew24)  But here is what God showed me about it: Remember the Bible talks about the parable to the fig tree. Matthew 24:32, when you see it’s beautiful leaves (i.e. Spring time) know that summer is near. So also when you see the signs of the end time know that our redemption/rapture/summer is near. However, if those days are not shortened, our redemption could be extended till winter. Hence the second prayer point is like the first. Let the days be shortened, let our flight not be in the winter. Note: the seasons are not literal, the signs of the end could span months and years. They are not necessarily within one year. 1 Peter 3:8.  I feel strongly that we should study these signs in our next meeting. However, so that I won’t be the only one talking, please let’s do our personal study about the Bible verses I shared in this post and come up with insights from God and questions.
