Story time!

I recently bought a pack of eye shadow applicators. Eye shadow applicators are double-sided, velvety soft applicators used to apply eye makeup evenly and easily without creases. They are disposable! They are perfect for blending colors and creating definition to help you achieve anylook.

Above is a definition of eye shadow applicators, so lets continue our story. On day one, I took out and made use of one of my applicators. It made my life easier. I used cotton swabs the previous day and it was not a good experience. However, on day two, I couldn't find the applicator I used the on day one.Since I had a pack of them, I decided to take out a new one. Then I remembered the parable of the lost sheep in Luke 15:4-7. NIV:

"Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesnt he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep. I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent."

Mind you, all these happened while doing my make up. I should have looked for the lost applicator. I told myself: "The owner of the hundred sheep had to go looking for the missing one because each sheep served a unique purpose. Each sheep had its own duty such that without it that task will be left undone. However, unlike the sheep, my eye shadow applicators all serve the same purpose and I don't have to go looking for the missing one." With that I completed my look without a sting of guilt!

Jesus seeks lost sinners because everyone is loved by the Father. Everyone is unique and has a special purpose on earth. The only way to know your purpose is to be a part of the body of Christ. Someone once defined purpose and said this: You cry everyday, I don't know my purpose. Purpose is not found in your school or career or marrying an attractive girl or boy.Purpose is combining everything you are passionate about in life and doing it with the only worthy goal of glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ. It all boils down to forsaking your sins and accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior!

That said! Have a great week ahead!
